How is this Venus Retrograde going for everyone? There is some rich Venuseun material being stirred up right now. Our relationships, friendships, creative energy and financial matters are all being put to the test. With Pluto so intimately involved, as I mentioned in an earlier newsletter, this is not your run-of-the-mill Venus Retrograde. We have all been plunged right into the heart of Venus, and not in the romantic kind of way necessarily.

So, we step into 2022 a bit more raw, a bit less naive and with a deep need for relief and a break. This will not be an overview of 2022, but I can tell you that there are some blissful sweet spots in 2022. Sweet spots that we have not experienced astrologically since 2019.

Is there an area in your life that has felt stifled somehow? Where growth and expansion has not felt accessible? An area where beliefs or creative connections may have been cut off?

Be especially aware of what is happening in your relationships on a more subtle level. Take note of your financial realm, can you make some adjustments to create a better relationship with money? And be sure to take some time to create during this Retrograde Cycle (however creativity manifests for you), some unexpected but much needed material may be unearthed.

Well… here we are. If you’ve been following the Astrological Weather for the past couple of weeks you’d know that something big has been brewing.

Mercury & Mars in Scorpio can pull us into the depths of our minds, our conversations and our imagination. The depths may feel intriguing and sometimes overwhelming. Hidden elements of our lives may abruptly come to the surface.

The Scorpio New Moon requires a lot of trust in digging deeper and reaching new levels of freedom. Security may feel threatened, but remember that radical regeneration is the only promise of the future. As Einstein reminded us, “change is the only constant.”

Take the time to listen to the whispers of the Universe - wherever it is that you hear its voice most clearly. Tap into your dreams and, if you feel called, embark upon a Journey - of any kind. Our society at large encourages us to remain numb to these subtle messages because it may undermine the rulership of those in power. Be a rebel, create a personal rebellion on the highest level and listen to your inner voice.

We can no longer sit on the sidelines of our lives and slide through with complacency, we are being asked and demanded to make changes that create a difference within ourselves and the greater global community. We are being challenged to sit with our shadows and bravely discover their secrets.
