April 2026 : Leap of Faith
Business
Hello and Happy April 2026! I hope that spring is treating everyone well. The Colorado mountains have heated up very quickly, at the moment it feels more like summer than spring. It’s been a wild year already!
Sara and I released a new episode looking at Composite Charts : Two Worlds Collide - on Broadcast Astrology : Insight for Humans. We dove deep into one another’s marriages using this intriguing technique, it was a lot of fun to produce, I hope that you like it (YouTube, Spotify and Other Channels). In April we will meet with Catherine Urban to discuss children’s charts and family dynamics.
As always, you can find an audio/video version of this newsletter where I provide further insight into the topics covered in this Newsletter (YouTube,Spotify, Apple Podcasts and wherever you listen).
Opening
Thus far, 2026 has been a mixture of disorienting quickening and stagnant heaviness. In short, very confusing. You may be wondering when things will return to “normal”… and the truth is that we won’t be. Life as we knew it was ready for deep reorientation, and we are in the liminal space between then and what comes next. There will be moments for rest and reprieve this year, but April is not one of those times. It will speed up and advance themes that we are already familiar with and likely throw in some more curve balls.
As we continue to navigate this threshold between the past and the future, I invite you to stay in your body, completely in your body - as much as feels safe. Our bodies are much more intelligent and informative than we tend to give them credit.
As a long-time yogi, learning how to stay embodied is the most valuable tool that I have accumulated over the years. So often we lean too heavily on the mind, the intellect to direct us. When we are able to stay in our amazing body and listen to its insight, we will never be mislead.
And at a time when things are moving incredibly quickly and feel increasingly destabilized, we need steady grounding. We can only ground when we are solidly in our body, with the breath and with the energetic pulsation of our life force. When you get into your head, find movement : walk, dance, jump around, crawl around… whatever it is that will keep you tuned into your human vehicle.
By the end of March all planets began their forward motion and are ready for action! Expect the areas of your life that have felt heavy and contemplative to find solid orientation and even movement
Globally we can expect more divisive events and likely an acceleration to the conflict that we are already familiar with. The middle of the month promises to be quite intense, so be sure to take good care of yourselves.
With so many planets in the sign of action-oriented Aries this month, take advantage of the opportunity to step more boldly into your life. New exciting beginnings are bountiful! Aries reminds us that while the leap into the future may be currently unformed, it is leaps such as these that gives life meaning.
Libra Full Moon
The Libra Full Moon takes place on April 1st at 10:11pm EDT and is situated at 12° 21’. Being Venus ruled, this Full Moon could bring the topics of relationship, social niceties and women to the forefront. While Venus in this chart is well placed in Taurus, it is also applying to a Square to Pluto. Indicating that there is a deeper story, potentially hidden secrets surrounding connections, beauty and women in general.
There is the potential for secret revelations to come to the surface and for our expectations of social balance to be disrupted. We could be learning how to navigate the new rules of engagement in a society that is increasingly more complicated.
Personally, expect to continue similar themes of rapid change. Potentially illuminating the incredible challenge of maintaining balance at this time. Balance does not look the way that it once did. This applies to all area of life, such as energetic balance, life-work balance, emotional balance, social balance, financial balance, etc.
We lean more heavily on the archetype of Libra when things are most chaotic. With so many planets in Aries throughout most of the month, chaos can be stirred up with boldly stepping onto a new life path, standing up for something you believe in, etc.
On the world stage we could find areas of our life becoming topsy-turvy due to acts of war, emboldened egos and other forms of aggressive agendas.
Saturn and Neptune
Although we had the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction perfect in February, they are still quite close (within about 3°) and the parade of planets moving through Aries will ping their influence. The Sun kicked this off at the end of March as it swept past Saturn and Neptune.
Beginning about April 9th we should begin to feel the intensity grow, as Mars enters the sign of Aries and then conjoins with Neptune (on April 12th, at 02° 39’) and Saturn (on April 19th, at 07° 51’). Mars often acts as a trigger in astrology, and will activate Saturn-Neptune topics, such as disintegration of tradition, dissolving boundaries and overall confusion. Military attacks resulting in notable loss could occur at this time, as well as a spread of the conflict into additional regions. We could also witness continued conflict and re-configuration of leadership.
It is possible that you could overwork yourself in April, working to accomplish goals that wear you down and lead to disappointment. If you find yourself flailing to make things happen, step back and take a breath, be patient and curious. It could be that you have to reconfigure your plan because the world is no longer playing by the same rules.
In addition, Mercury will reach Neptune (on April 16th at 02° 47’) and Saturn (on April 20th at 07° 55’) which will bring the above topics to areas of communication, transportation, the news and information in general. We could be grappling with more nuanced AI technology distorting our perception of reality. Or that same technology opening doors for us that were previously unfathomable.
We will continue to deepen into the Saturn-Neptune distortion field throughout much of the year as planets continue to dance with them. But this month in particular promises to push us into a new world. Allow the new dream to enter and continue to release the scaffolding for that which is expired.
Look at your chart and see what you have at the early degrees (00° - 10°) of Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn), you could be most impacted by potential exhaustion, combative conversations, etc.
Aries New Moon
On April 17th at 7:51am EDT the New Moon in Aries will take place. And with eight of the twelve planets / points in Aries, this promises to be time of accelerated activities, brave first acts and the potential for aggression. Aries is the beginning of the Zodiac, and has the audacity to push its way towards new life. Aries is motivated by the promise of life and new beginnings.
If you have been feeling a lull, a heaviness within your life for the past couple of months, then this New Moon could usher in some fresh vigor. Much of the heaviness that we have been experiencing has been due to Saturn and Neptune, and they are still operative, being only 5° apart. However, Mars and Mercury are in between them allowing us to bravely give word to emotions.
In the US chart, the fiery assertive Aries action is mostly hidden in the 12th House. And the chart highlights revolutionary action, as well as powerful leadership and government. It is possible that we could see a rise in protests, and overall civil unrest.
On a personal level, allow for the fresh ideas to rush in. Be careful of heated arguments, moments where you needlessly put your foot in your mouth. The heated debates that occur could be rooted in fear, so check in with yourself. Can you locate the vulnerability and the common thread in the situation?
Many of us are in the midst of destabilization on more levels than we can likely perceive. We could be feeling at our whits end by mid-April and needing some relief. More pro-active means of releasing the pent-up pressure within us could be through moving your body, screaming, breathing, etc. Let that shit out.
Uranus into Gemini
And finally, on April 25th, Uranus will make its decisive entrance into the zodiacal sign of Gemini! This is a very exciting ingress and we are sure to feel this on a personal and a global scale. Uranus has been in Taurus since 2018, wreaking havoc on the financial system (most notably through Crypto currencies), supply chains (remember COVID!), and food distribution in general (such as the egg shortage). Taurus is Venus ruled, indicating women - and Roe v. Wade was also overturned during this time.
Uranus in Taurus targets resources as well as areas of our life that make us feel comfortable and secure. And the years since 2018 have certainly forced us all out of our comfort zones in more ways than we could have anticipated.
As I mentioned in a previous newsletter, Uranus and Gemini are both quite similar in nature. They are both youthful, quick-witted and curious, almost to a fault. We can expect technology and transportation specifically to change considerably between now and 2033 - when Uranus will leave Gemini. And it’s nearly 3-year Trine with Pluto in Aquarius - which begins this summer - will certainly accelerate this process even more.
Uranus into Gemini signals that the forward motion of 2026 can truly begin. We felt this acceleration last year when Uranus dipped its toes into Gemini from July to November. Now we do it for real, there is no turning back from the future!
There are certainly challenges to Uranus being in Gemini - especially for the United States. Due to the foundation chart of the US, this placement has historically triggered conflict - such as the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and World War II. We see this already taking shape through the conflict in Iran. Although there are hopes of this being a short-term conflict, it also seems to become increasingly more complicated. Time will tell.
On the bright side, the US always comes out of this placement as a stronger nation. Always with a greater sense of national pride, freedom and self-understanding. While humanity’s path to growth is not usually easy and can get quite messy, I have faith that goodness of humans will prevail.
Closing
In April we continue to simultaneously break-down and break-through. The timeline quickens, opening doors that we previously could not conceive of.
As the world changes, on more levels than we can perceive, stay in your beautiful human body. Move your body to prevent energetic buildups, and use practices such as grounding, body-scanning and yoga-nidra to relax and communicate with what your body (your higher self) is telling you.
Breath-work is another wonderful tool, always, and especially now. Simple techniques such as box-breath can calm your nervous system as you move through your day. And it is always useful to visualize yourself surrounded by a bubble of love and light, expand that bubble of protection outwards as far as you can - you were meant to take up space in this lifetime.
April is where the year begins to invite in immense innovation and the pace of events picks up. Tap into your curiosity, be open to the world being more magical than what you could possibly imagine.
Take care of yourselves, inside and out. And have fun!
Lots of Love,
Lisa (aka The Dynamic Self)
