July 2026 : Spectacular

Business

Welcome to July!  I am away with the family for most of this month.  We are headed to California to look at colleges for my oldest son and then I am spending a week at a Buddhist Family Camp in Colorado with my youngest.  Looking forward to getting out of town and spending some time with my family. It’s always refreshing to embark on new adventures!  That said, if you’re looking for a consultation, keep in mind that I don’t have any availability until August.

Due to technical issues - that I believe are now resolved - I had to duplicate my email list onto Substack in January.  If you are getting too many emails from me feel free to unsubscribe from Substack.  However, on Substack you will be the first to know about material that I have released.  As always, thanks for supporting my work!

Sara and I had an inspiring talk with Leslie Hawthorne from Archive Astrology discussing the Magic of Daily Astrology - which are the smaller transits that we tend to lose track of.  You can find this episode on Broadcast Astrology : Insight for Humans , YouTube, Spotify and Other Channels.

I also posted my evaluation of The United State’s 2026 Solar Return, exploring what the year ahead looks like for America, this Solar Return year looks to be quite a roller coaster (YouTube, Spotify, wherever you listen).  I plan to continue to release additional content on current world events and other topics whenever I have the time.

As always, you can find an audio/video version of this newsletter where I provide further insight into the topics covered here (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcast and wherever you listen).

Opening

July largely acts as the crest of 2026, heightening the activity and opening the door for new energy to come roaring into our lives.  It is a massive month.  A month with the ability to change the course of important world narratives, and the narratives within own personal lives.  This is true especially if you have placements at or around 04° of any sign, take a look at your charts for any placements at or near this early degree.

Expect this month to progress with great abandon.  The months prior have removed the restraints (as illustrated by the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction) in preparation for the events that look to unfold in July and into August.

Remember that Mercury is Retrograde for most of this month, as it stationed Retrograde at the end of June.  If you are traveling, be sure to leave time and mental space for plans to unravel a bit, and eventually reorient themselves.  The main theme of this Mercury Retrograde has to do with optimism meeting realism.

July begins with a bang as well as an infusion of miscommunication and confusion.  Read below for more details…

Mars Conjunct Uranus

This will likely be a very impactful transit for the United States in particular.  Taking place on July 4th and situated at 03° Gemini 52’, this explosive conjunction is baked into the Solar Return chart for the United States.  Meaning, that this year ahead for the US is sure to be filled with sudden events, volatility, excitement and even rebellion.

Uranus in Gemini already triggers the US natal Uranus in Gemini, signaling a Uranus return.  This placement is a statement of the American Revolutionary War (from 1775 - 1783), freeing the colonies from Great Britain.  At that time, America was largely a rugged group of Europeans who rebelled against the Crown in order to gain independence from rule and taxation.  It was largely a statement of freedom.  This spirit still lives strong in the American people and the US Sibly chart highlights Uranus on the Descendent, stating that the US will remain free and independent of outside rule.

In the US Sibly chart Mars is also widely Conjunct to Uranus, which means that this upcoming Conjunction is what is called a recurrence transit.  So, whenever Mars and Uranus conjoin in general (about every two years), the US feels it, because it is already aligned to the frequency of Mars-Uranus.  But this is especially true when these planets are also in Gemini.

As early as the last week of June, we could, feel the effects of this transit.  Sudden developments on the world stage could occur, stirring up raw responses and volatility.

In our personal lives, we can expect to feel a general quickening, even excitement.  This is the match that will propel us through the quickening in July.  The way that we react to the events of late June and early July could open up doors that we were not yet aware of before.  The areas of our life where we have felt in disarray and even loss could be filled with inspiration and hope.  Call in the new, the thrill, the burst of fresh life!

If we are clinging too tightly to the past, to a narrative that is asking to be released, or maybe just unable to let go of the burden that we are grasping then this time could feel overwhelming and distressing.  And that can be a blessing in the larger picture as well.  Do not run from it, look the change in the eyes and say “hello, what needs to be done here?”.

There is no stopping the wave of change that is hurling at us in the month of July.  All we can do is breathe, take care of ourselves (as I am always reminding both myself and you) and grasp the magic of each moment - because it is surely there.

If you have placements at or around 03° / 04° of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces) then you are more likely to feel this transit.  But, as I said earlier these early degrees of any sign will be impacted this month in particular.

Saturn & Neptune Station Retrograde

As you know, I take the Stationing of outer planets quite seriously.  At these times, planets are very loud due to their incredibly slow, or stopped, movement (from our perspective on Earth).  The first couple weeks of July will highlight an undercurrent of Neptunian essence.  Bringing to the forefront : compassion, creativity, vulnerability, confusion, boundlessness, mysticism, addiction and deception.  Neptune can be simultaneously healing and toxic.

On July 7th, Neptune will station Retrograde at 04° Aries 25’, and is activating this sensitive degree through its Station Retrograde.  At the time of its Station, the Moon will be positioned between Neptune and Saturn, illuminating the connection and the work that these two planets have been doing over the past year.  It is time to make decisions that prepare us for this new chapter.

Every time the Moon makes its monthly journey through this part of the sky, we are subtly (or maybe not so subtly) reminded that we are in a time of disintegration on some level.  We need to be malleable like clay because life (God, Source, etc) is remolding us into a new and improved form.  What can we do to help to facilitate this process?

And Neptune in such a potent state will surely encourage more surrender and trust to melt our form towards whatever new curves and edges are necessary.

Once the impact of Neptune’s Station Retrograde has washed over us, we will step into Saturn’s realm.  Saturn Stations Retrograde on July 26th, at 14° Aries 44’.  A potent Saturn suggests a time when we need to refrain from excess, there could also be heavy decisions that are made that will take time and effort to see clearly.  Topics of discipline, structure and karma will also be highlighted.

In the sign of Aries, we could see continued hasty reactions, and topics of masculinity and conflict being brought to the forefront.  While the beginning of July blurred the edges with Neptunes influence, the month ends with hard edges and consequences being brought to the forefront.

Additionally, these two planets being highlighted in July could deepen the storyline surrounding the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction that perfected in February 2026.  Blurred boundaries and weakened governance, unclear military tactics and leadership strategy are all up for reconsideration.

If you have Cardinal placements (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) around and between 4° and 14° then you could be more impacted by the Saturn-Neptune activity in July.

Cancer New Moon

The Cancer New Moon takes place on July 14th at 5:43am and is situated at 21° Cancer 59’.  Cancer is the sign of home and family, patriotism, protection, memory, and emotions.  Cancer asks us to look at the areas of our life that are tender and need nurturing.

Mercury Retrograde is Conjunct the New Moon, stating that there are pieces of information that we may need to retrieve from our memory-bank in order to work through past pain.  There is also a separating Square to Saturn, stating that we may not be able to move forward until these details are worked through.

This process could feel underwhelming because of the backward motion of it, but rest assured that the work that we do here will soon catapult us forward into intriguing new landscapes.

The Star of David

The astrology of July in particular is monumental, forming a nearly complete Star of David within the celestial landscape.  Astrologically, the Star of David consists of two grand trines, in this case we will have a grand trine in Air (when the Moon is included) and an incomplete grand trine in Fire (missing the 04° Sagittarius placement).  If you have 04° Sagittarius in your chart, this could be especially beneficial for you, filling in the missing piece.

This will take place between July 15th - 24th, as the Sextiles and Trines perfect one-by-one, within zodiacal minutes of one another.  Most notably, on July 19th, the Moon will complete the Air trine, as Moon reached 04° of Libra.

With both grand trines in yang signs (Fire and Air), we can expect that extroverted and action-oriented themes will continue to unfold.  The Air grand trine is composed of Uranus in Gemini, Pluto in Aquarius and the Moon in Libra (taking place specifically on July 19th), and the partial Fire grand trine consists of Neptune in Aries and Jupiter in Leo.

All systems are go!  But there is an important lesson embedded into the Oppositions of this alignment, particularly Jupiter Opposite Pluto (perfecting on July 20th).  Stating that success comes with sacrifice, mistakes will be made in this time when all things are seemingly possible, and those with power have the farthest to fall.

This is the audacious dream that the falling apart has been preparing us for.  This is the time to take the chance, to make the final call, to hurl yourself full-on into that project, to allow life to surprise you!

Mercury Stations Direct

On July 23rd Mercury Stations Direct at 16° Cancer 18’, ending several weeks of what could have been summer travel mayhem.  I personally will be traveling for most of the duration of this Mercury Retrograde - I will keep you posted on our success!

Mercury Stations very close to a Square to Saturn.  I personally found that Mercury’s Square to Saturn on June 9th brought forward information that could be turned on it’s head as a result of the Mercury Retrograde, and I wonder if this Station will solidify the unrealistic nature of these events.

The potential success that looked to be promised as part of this Mercury Retrograde could be realized in Mid-August when Mercury finally Conjoins Jupiter (as it tried to do when it Stationed Retrograde at the end of June).

Either way, Mercury Stationing Direct is always somewhat of a relief so that we can go back to business as usual.

Nodes into Leo / Aquarius

On July 26th the Nodes change from the Virgo / Pisces axis and shift into the Leo / Aquarius axis.  The North Node will be in Aquarius and the South Node will be in Leo.  This essentially officially moves the eclipses into these signs, although we will have two more eclipse in Virgo / Pisces in August and another in February.

The Leo / Aquarius axis can be trying for leadership - since Leo signifies the leader and Aquarius the people in general.  We are encouraged to evaluate the boundaries of leadership and in what ways the common people are being hindered by the power that leadership holds.  With the North Node in Aquarius, it is possible that the people could hold more clout within the events that unfold while the Nodes are in these signs.

The Nodes will remain on this axis until September 2029.  Check your chart to see what house(s) Leo / Aquarius is in.

Aquarius Full Moon

On July 29th the Aquarius Full Moon will take place at 10:35am and will be situated at 06° Aquarius 30’.  This is a potent Full Moon, one that eases us into Eclipse Season - which occur for most of August and into September.

Most notably, the Full Moon is aligned with the Jupiter - Pluto Opposition that perfected in the middle of the month but is still quite close.  However, the Sun is very close to Jupiter, which makes its message quite loud.

Emboldened leadership looks to be taking heavy-handed actions.  There is a sense that those in charge can do no wrong - particularly in the environment that they are acting within.  There is the chance for success within whatever is occurring, however, there will also be consequences.

There is a sense of chaos within the Full Moon chart cast for Washington DC.  Change is occurring and needs to occur, and is dependent upon what the leadership / the government is doing.

Personally, this is a time when the quickening that has been swirling takes some form and allows itself to culminate into something tangible.  The Full Moon is quite close to the partial Star of David that was forming the week or so earlier.  The Sun joining this picture invites visibility and physical manifestation to take place.  However, there is also a reminder of the sacrifice that must also be made.

A sacrifice must always be made.

Closing

July is sure to keep us on the edges of our seats.  July will stir the pot, and activate what is ready.  If July begins to feel like too much take care of yourself, of course.  But also, be sure to jump back in as soon as you can.

Life will not wait for you, this month the message is loud and very accessible.  Whatever it is that you have been holding back on, now is the time.  Astrology like this is once in a lifetime.  I know that this is a narrative that is repeated (unfortunately) online over and over again.  However, the astrology of this month is particularly spectacular, and I do not say that lightly.  But you must put in the work, take the action, throw your chips on the table.

Trust the process.  Sometimes activating the nervous system is good for making us stronger and allowing our boundaries to widen.  If we aren’t challenged and made to feel uncomfortable then we will not grow in the way that we were meant to.  Find the discomfort and discover the magic within it.

August will usher in Eclipse Season!  Are you ready?

Lot’s of Love,

Lisa (aka The Dynamic Self)
